Mozilla Live chat for any sort of Firefox support
Mozilla Live chat is the third means of support mechanism to the fire fox users round the world. The other two Fire fox support systems in the form of Firefox Knowledge Base or Forums are already in place, and is part of the Mozilla community’s effort to make fire fox the really useful web browser.
Who are the Fire fox support agents
Fire fox support agents, who will provide the live chat support, are not extra-ordinary people. They are the people just like you and me, but a bit more experienced in using Firefox. They are the volunteers, who come forward themselves to serve the community by sharing their knowledge. They work from their own places using their own PCs. They just have to download and install the Spark client in their OS. Spark is a third party application that, combined with the server-side Openfire software, lets these Fire fox live chat support members take questions from the users who access our Live Chat support through a web interface.
How to seek Fire fox live chat support
Users seeking support can visit Firefox Support and search the Knowledge Base to see if the problem is a well known one. On search results they are offered additional support options (live chat and forums).
If an expert is available for the live support, an awake colorful Foxkeh image like this will be shown.

Otherwise, when the live support is not there, the image will be like this.

When can I get the live support
The hours of operation reflect when helpers are reliably around to help. Since these are the times that Fire fox tells its users to come by, this is when they need extra help.
The hours of operation are…
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9am to 12pm PST (GMT -8)
- Tuesday and Thursday: 1pm to 4pm PST (GMT -8)
- For Saturdays, Sundays and holidays see their after hours policy.
Live chat support is in beta though.
